The incredible Nexus 6 has started its global dominance with a wide availability, shared on Google Play support pages. The list is not that long, but I am sure that it will reach more countries and regions by the end of the year. However, with the Moto Maxx becoming official as well, there are other options around in case you are not on that list.
Nexus 6 available includes states as Canada, US, the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, the Netherlands, Japan and Australia. Regarding the pricing, the Smartphone has been set at a price of 649 USD, and 699 USD for the 32 GB and 64 GB version respectively. This means 649/699 EUR in the European countries, 499/549 GBP in the UK, 44,000/49,000 INR in India and most probably between 869/929 AUD.
In the same time, the well-awaited Smartphone has appeared listed in the Play Store in India and Australia recently after it was listed on Google’s official Play Support pages but it still showing “Coming Soon” in the shipping times section. The same situation can be seen in European and US Google pages. As soon as the “Coming soon” message is changed with “1-2 days”, we will know for sure when to expect it.
So far, Nexus is now available on Motorola’s web store as well. Shipping dates will be entirely dependent on how quickly your order one and how quickly Google runs out of stock.
For those of you who want to remember what to expect from the new device, Nexus 6’s specs and features are pretty impressive. Out of the box, the Smartphone will be running Android 5.0 Lollipop; it will come with a display of 5.96-inch and 1440 x 2560 display resolution. The battery is 322.mAh, and the rear facing camera is 13 MP with optical image stabilization. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and a 32-bit Quad Core 2.7 GHz Adreno 420.
In case you are not on the list with the countries receiving Nexus 6 in the near future, all you have to do is to wait a couple of days or even weeks, because Nexus 6 will become available globally.
