  1. Access Google Play Store on your smartphone.
  2. Search for Light Flow app and download the same.
  3. Next, run the tool on your Nexus 6.
  4. Pick Settings.
  5. Check the “Root mode” box along with “Run every command as root” and “Direct mode”.
  6. Then, return to main menu of the app.
  7. From there tap on Notifications and choose any app.
  8. Swipe right in order to be able to change Light settings.
  9. Scroll down until you find “Enable mixer”.
  10. Check that box and choose while color to enable: red, green or blue notification LED light.
  11. Save your settings and in the end reboot your Google Nexus 6.
