After the official release of Xperia Z1S in Japan, there have been some rumors concerning its global launch soon. So far, these rumors concern Sony Mobile Global Site – where the smartphone was spotted for a short period of time – as being the main leak source of the unveiling of the device, which is due on 12th of November at a press event in Shanghai.

There might be some questions to be asked concerning the release of this device, since Sony Mobile has listed the Xperia Z1S on its site. However, an hour later, the Sony Mobile site took down all the listings of Zperia Z1S.

Below are some rumored specs that Xperia Z1 S may come with:

  • The 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Android OS and a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, quite strong to handle all kind of applications, file management, video and audio features. The 2 GB of RAM would be more than enough to support multiple tasking and heavy downloading.
  • Its generous internal storage of 16 GB gives you the opportunity of storing tones of documents, vids or other important apps.
  • Other rumored specs and features include WI-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2300 mAh Battery, and the top of the ice: a rear camera of 20.7 MP, which will definitely shoot memorable and crystal-clear photos.
  • Xperia Z1S might also arrive with the IP55 and IP58 – the well-known certifications for water and dust resistance.

Sony Mobile Global Site may also have to define the “S” letter from Xperia Z1; some may say it stands for “small”. We will have to wait until the 12th of November to unveil the real truth about Xperia Z1S. Until then, don`t forget to leave your comments on the rumors that keep everybody so tuned.
