Connect to GPS on your Galaxy Note 8

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray;
  2. Then, you must tap Settings > Connections;
  3. Tap Location;
  4. You can also slide the Location Switch right to the ON position;
  5. Then, tap Agree;
  6. Up next, tap Locating method;
  7. Now, you have to select desired locating method:
  • High accuracy;
  • Battery saving;
  • Phone only;
  • Selfie.

You can also choose to turn off all location services including GPS, so don’t hesitate to apply the following detailed steps:

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray;
  2. Tap Settings;
  3. Then, tap Connections;
  4. Tap Location;
  5. Side the Location Switch left to the OFF position. This disables all location services, including GPS.
