HTC One M8 – New Leaked Photo Showing the Back

This isn’t the first time when we are talking about HTC One M8, but a new leaked photo showing the back of the device has managed once again to capture our attention. As you probably remember, the previous photos that we have seen have offered us the possibility to make a first impression only about the front of this upcoming smartphone, while this latest one seems to confirm the presence of dual cameras too, as initially rumored. If we take in consideration a previous report from Bloomberg, HTC is planning to update its entire One line with a second camera module, but why such a decision?

It is obviously that the company has in mind the idea of offering us an improved low light performance. Will HTC One M8 be indeed much better when it comes to taking pictures in those sunny summer days or to night shooting? We cannot be sure of anything at this point, but the future looks promising enough to think so.

You should also know that this leaked photo showing us the handset isn’t the first one; we have previously seen another one as well and we must tell you that there is a difference between them. As you can see by yourself, this most recent one shows us the dual LED flashes as being enclosed in a single hole, while the other one has separate LED flashes placed in in two different circles.

As our source also suggested, it is probably to find out that one of them is just an earlier prototype, but we cannot say for sure which one.

Other rumors waiting for confirmation

In addition to all these, we can also tell you some of its leaked specs that we are aware of: a 5-inch screen with virtual navigation buttons that are supposed to be removable via a swiping gesture, a 5 megapixel front camera, not to mention that it features Android 4.4.2 and Sense 6.0.

But there is no surprise that we treat this information and the photos as well with our usual dose of skepticism. Expected to be released at Mobile World Congress at the end of February, this HTC One M8 smartphone will reveal then its true face (and back as well) and be sure that we’ll return with more information.
