Pricing and Availability Details
In terms of availability, Clove UK, Vodafone UK, Carphone Warehouses, as well as Phones 4u, O2, and EE have all announced they will be selling the Sony Xperia Z2. Clove UK has already listed Sony’s latest device at £540, also promising an April 11 release, while Carphone Warehouse is claiming a 7 April release date which is indeed a few earlier, but the offer is a bit more expensive at £549.95.
Vodafone is set to ship out orders on 10 April and if you don’t remember, the carrier is actually bundling a free 32″ Sony TV with first Z2 pre-orders. As for Phones 4u, the date is also set on 11 April, but the price is yet to be revealed, not to mention that EE is also prepared to offer the Sony Xperia Z2 device on its 4G network, but the pricing is not announced in this case either.
We can only tell you that pre-orders will open from the end of March, with the launch of this Sony handset set for mid-April; and if you place you pre-order now, you have a chance to win a 50in 3D TV and a sound bar. As for O2, it has just shared the big news that it is has gained the exclusive rights to the purple Xperia Z2 version, but pricing and release details aren’t yet revealed.
Aren’t you that familiar with the device? Then, here we are to share our opinions with you. Its most impressive ability is its recording one (4K video) due to resolution which is four times better than that of full HD at 3840×2160, something that we have never seen on previous Sony devices up to now. Yes, we don’t see such a 20.7MP rear-facing camera every day!
Moreover, its power comes from a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Krait CPUs and 3GB of RAM, while the 5.2-inch IPS LCD Triluminos display has a maximum resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixel.
And don’t forget that Xperia Z2 can be dunked in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meter, just as its predecessor having dust-resistant and waterproof IP55 and IP58 certification. Xperia Z2 is more powerful and much faster than HTC One, as we have seen a few days ago, so are you thinking to take in consideration any of these offers? Let us know if you still need our help!
