LG’s G Pro 2 Success forces company to think about a Price cut for LG G2

LG has an unexpected success with its LG G Pro 2 in its home country, as a Korean newspaper has just revealed. Despite the high price tag of no less than KRW999,000 (about $927), this device has successfully won the competition against its LG G2 brother and that’s exactly why the company is now forced to think about a price cut for LG G2. Anyway, there is no official information on exactly what price cut the G Pro 2 is going to get, but at least we know for sure that we won’t have to wait too long for that to happen, as an LG insider has already confirmed.

LG G Pro 2: Beautiful HD screen and Fast Performance

The LG G Pro 2 hasn’t even made its worlwide debut yet and it has already managed to be in the spotlight. People just love what it has to offer and who are we to argue with that? The giant LG G Pro 2 comes with a beautiful HD screen, it offers a fast performance and it even has an impressive camera as well:

Its 6.2-inch screen incorporates a 5.9-inch display with 1.920×1.080 pixels; as for its cameras, LG G Pro 2 has both a rear-facing 13-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing one as well. While the previous Optimus G Pro is powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, this new model packs a much more reliable quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU and an Adreno 330 GPU, also sporting 3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of storage inside.

Although we had seen whar the KnockOn function is all about, LG Pro 2 offers even more than we were used to: the Knock Code combines turning on your handset and unlocking the lock screen into just one action. By dividing the display into four different quadrants, you can easily tap a certain combination within these zones to wake up and unlock the handset, LG saying that there are around 80,000 different possible combinations.

As for its dimensions, LG G Pro 2 is massive indeed, measuring no less than 6.2 inches tall, 3.2 inches wide, and just 0.3 inch thick, but also elegant and available in three colors: white, silver, and titan (black). And LG G Pro 2 has been also spotted in red, but we are going to come back with more details about this subject in the near future.
