Sprint HTC One Max Making the Jump to KitKat

We have seen how HTC has been upgrading its normal-sized smartphones in the US to Android 4.4 KitKat for a few weeks, but now the company is prepared to pay some attention to its giant One Max as well. Yes, the device is ready to make the jump to KitKat, but we are only talking about the Sprint version for the moment. The international version of the HTC One Max has already received its KitKat update in mid-February, only letting Verizon users to wait a little longer. But we can tell you that although it hasn’t made an official announcement regarding the KitKat upgrade to its One Max variant up to now, HTC informed us that the patch is in certification for Verizon as well, so we are going to receive fresh news soon.

KitKat comes with a Tempting Package of Enhancements

Returning to this Sprint HTC One Max update to KitKat, we can tell you from the start that the new software version is 2.09.651.1 and weighs in at 344MB, so make sure that you have enough space in your HTC One Max for receiving it. The latest version of Android comes with a tempting package of enhancements and changes among we can mention restyled status and navigation bars, color emoji support, a new full-screen immersive mode, as well as improved closed captioning support. And the list gets even bigger!
