Galaxy S5 Pre-orders at Carphone Warehouse UK

Just as Samsung has promised us when it has introduced the Galaxy S5 model during its Unpacked 5 event, their handset is about to be made available on over 150 markets starting April 11. In these conditions, two weeks ahead its international release, there is another UK retailer that has started accepting pre-orders. We are referring to Carphone Warehouse which currently offers the Samsung Galaxy S5 16 GB version priced at £579.95 without contract, or for $0 down if you agree to sign a two-year agreement for no less than £42 per month including 3GB of data.

Carphone’s Warehouse Galaxy S5 Color Options

Carphone’s Warehouse spokesman has officially declared: “The Galaxy S5 looks set to become a record breaking handset for Samsung at a key time in the mobile calendar as several major manufacturers launch handsets within weeks of one another”. But don’t you forget that Carphone Warehouse won’t have the smartphone in stock anytime sooner than April 11 which is the global launch date of the Galaxy device, as we all Know. As for the color, Samsung’s Galaxy S5 will initially come only in Shimmery White and Charcoal Black, while the Electric Blue and Copper Gold version are expected at Carphone Warehouse on April 22 and May 20 respectively.

Galaxy S5: Amazing Specs

As a reminder, Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone has a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, as well as a powerful quad-core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of microSD-expandable storage (up to 128 GB supported). Its 16 MP primary camera with advanced High Dynamic Range (HDR) and 4K video recording support is something that you’ll love using, not to mention that Galaxy S5 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box customized with Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz UI interface.

Moreover, Galaxy’s  fingerprint sensor the embedded into the Home button for offering safe mobile payment and the rear-mounted heart rate monitor right below the camera, next to the LED flash are nice additions for all those interested on a modern smartphone that can be used for much more than talking, texting and sending photos.
