HTC One Mini Release Date: August 9 In UK via Twitter
HTC One Mini hasn’t been officially announced yet, but we already have a release date for UK: August 9. The information comes from a Twitter account so we can’t tell for sure if they’re right, but they were very accurate with the Nokia Lumia 1020 a while ago so they might be right this time, too. HTC was saying, a few months ago, that the HTC One will be the only “One” to be launched in 2013, but we guess they changed their minds afterwords, considering that we were also talking, just yesterday, about the HTC One Max to be released soon. Nothing to worry about, though. Just more devices to choose from.
Specs wise, all we got so far is rumors, but until they’re officially announced, let’s have a look. So, we might be dealing with 1GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 400 processor. The HTC One Mini will launch with Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5. Among confirmed specs, we have a 4.3-inch 720p display, 16GB of internal storage, and a 4 UltraPixels camera. According to our source, HTC mistakenly posted a teaser for the upcoming device, a few days ago, but they still haven’t made it official. We don’t have the dimensions yet, but we can tell you the Mini will fit perfectly in your pockets.
Many HTC users are waiting for the device, as they are eager to buy it. The price tag hasn’t been announced either, but it will most definitely be cheaper than the HTC One. LG is also planning on launching the G2 in early August. Is this a coincidence or a competition? We couldn’t say, but we’re expecting HTC to let us know about the real specs and price tag for the pocket-lint soon. The handset is expected to feature a primary 4MP camera with LED flash and autofocus. We were also wondering about the battery, but couldn’t find out anything yet. We’ll keep you posted.
