Samsung Galaxy Note 3 leaked in images
We were telling you about the September 4th event, at which we’re expecting the Galaxy Note 3 phablet to be officially announced. Today, we have new photos of the device, but none of them is from a good angle so we didn’t get to see too much of the handset. The images are said to be of the Galaxy Note 3 prototype but we can’t tell the actual design and shape. The Note 3 will probably become available in stores starting October 2013 for around (we believe) a $700 price tag. The leaked images aren’t accompanied by any details on the smartphone, but we have some info from past articles and rumors regarding the specs and features, which we’ll talk about later.
The operating system might be Android 4.2 or 4.3 Jelly Bean, whatever the latest Android version is when it is released, to quote our source. The device is said to feature a large 5.99-inch 1080p HD display, bigger that what was rumored before. Also, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core chip might run the device, just as we were telling you in a previous article on the Galaxy Note 3. Tech Kiddy talks about a flexible OLED display for the premium version of the device. A Super Amoled full HD panel is expected for the Asia version, while the European model is said to come with a Full HD LCD.
Other specs would be a 13MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM, Bluetooth LE, a new notifications bar, and Wi-Fi Always Scanning. The Galaxy Note 3 will also feature the famous S Pen and will support LTE-A. It’s said to come with 16/32/64 GB storage, expandable via MicroSD card slot. As the rumors about the specs change a little every week, we’re really excited about the official release of the handset. Aren’t you?
