Take advantage of the LG G5 Replaceable Battery
The LG G5 may not be the most popular Android smartphone of 2016, but it is one of the most interesting devices that I have seen and I am not only talking about this year. While the company’s past G-series flagships have come with small upgrades, this year LG revolutionized its flagship with an impressive modular-toting battery-replaceable metal design and so many features that wait to be discovered.
To tell you the truth, I really believe that one of the biggest features behind the LG G5 design is the fact that it comes with a removable battery. This is something that more and more manufacturers tending to leave behind, despite the buyer’s demand.
According to LG, the fastest way to recharge a smartphone or the G5 is to replace the battery and if this is impossible with other HTC or Samsung handsets, it is very simple with the LG G5. All you practically have to do is to click a little button on the bottom of the LG G5 and the battery is completely removable. The bottom slides out, and the battery can be replaced in seconds.
Even more, there’s a lot of great things going for the LG G5 and the redesign of the LG G5 means the battery has shrunk slightly from 3000mAh unit packed inside the LG G4 and LG G3 to a 2800mAh unit. Should you be worried about that and put this in a balance with the fact that the handset has a replaceable battery and think of other options?
Let me assure you that it isn’t the case. If you have doubts and want to take in consideration other Android devices feel free to do that, but don’t blame the battery for that. It’s true that this year the LG G5 unit comes with a smaller 2,800 mAh battery, but this also means that it simply recharges faster than any LG phone to date. And it also comes with some interesting more battery saving features, and runs the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
All these mean that the slightly smaller battery is no reason for concern. And because you have the chance to swap in a spare battery whenever you feel like it, it makes sense to have an extra one on your purse or bag all the time. So, while the LG G5 charges from 0 to no less than 80% in about 30-35 minutes using the included charger, it’s even easier to have a spare full battery for after work or for those times when you need more juice.
