Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Certified by the FCC
We have all heard some rumors regarding the possibility of receiving a new-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series tablets, some of them having the model numbers SM-T530 and SM-T330. In the same time, two yet unannounced Samsung tablets – Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 – have been just certified by the FCC and it seems that we are talking about the very same models in both cases. As long as these two devices have found their way to the well known US telecommunication certifying website, it means that we have more than a confirmation of their existence; we actually know for sure that they will be revealed in the near future, maybe even at the Mobile World Congress which will take place in Barcelona, in just a few days.
Schematic Pictures
For those of you hoping to take a first look to any of these tablets, we must tell you that the leaked FCC documentation only shows us some schematic pictures of these Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 versions and nothing more than that. These sketches have revealed though the position of the rear-camera and we also want to tell you more about their possible specs, according to the latest speculations.
Speculations regarding Samsung’s Upcoming family of tablets
From the FCC tech sheet, we can see that both Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Tab 4 8.0 seem to share many of their technical specs among we can mention a maximum 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, as well as a the possibility of getting the power from a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor coming along with 16GB of internal memory.
And that’s not all; rumor has it that another smaller Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 version should soon join the company’s new family as well, so we’ll keep an eye on things.
