Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update will Soon Roll Out for Galaxy Note 2
You probably all know that Samsung announced its Android 4.4 KitKat update list about a month ago and many Galaxy Note 2 owners from all over the world were disappointed to find out that their device was not included in the list. However, it looks like an Android 4.4 KitKat update for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 is still on the cards, just as we can see on the leaked document below that clearly show that the update will start to roll out no later than April – May this year.
Real Document with Precise Information
As we have seen, Android 4.4.2 KitKat is already available for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 or Galaxy S4, so we are most probably talking about a real document with precise information, despite of the fact that Galaxy’s model number is wrongly listed in the image (SM-N7100 instead of the normal GT-N7100 one).
New Changes
As previous rumors have suggested, Samsung will probably roll out the KitKat version to its Galaxy Note 2 a few weeks after the Galaxy S5 becomes available. And here we have some details regarding what it will offer. Hangouts will send and receive SMS and MMS on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the lock screen will display album art when playing music and we are even talking about a new camera button, so you can take photos without unlocking your Galaxy Note 2.
Android 4.4.2 KitKat also comes with white notification bar icons, as well as new setting for default apps, offering you the possibility to head over to Settings and see which apps are default for every action and change them. And just as always, KitKat uses less memory than ever before, which should also mean improvements in the battery life.
