After doing the above process , my OPO reboots and get into a loop wherein it boots again and again endlessly after crossing Welcome to CynogenMod page

    • Yash Baid says:

Just make sure the OEM is unlocked. If not then go to command prompt and type
‘fastboot oem unlock’ that should do the trick..

  2. Jehan Kateli says:

ADB isn’t recognising my OPO. (currently running CM12 nightly).

  3. Devasmith Barua says:

cannot flash twrp on cm12. I did all the things mentioned above but upon rebooting with recovery it shows stock cyanogenmod recovery.

    • Zwizzor says:

Same here. I flashed it just like the first time I got my OpO, but this time the cyanogenmod recoverywas installed and I was trying to replace it, but it didn’t replace it…
I’m told there might be a key combo to boot TWRP instead of cyanogendmod recovery the first time. Does anybody know it please?

      • Alex says:

Same Problem for me, took me ages to figure that cyanogen mod wasn’t the same as what they were talking about in the description X_X…. The transfer and all say it’s successful but when hitting vol – with power button it keeps going to cyanogen recover.

      • SanDroidx says:

        Same probleme here. -.-
Did you solve your problem in the meantime?
        Please let me know.

        • Zwizzor says:

Yep, you have to flash TWRP again (i used the same files as the first time on cm11) and as soon as it is flashed and you reboot, !!get in the recovery!! Don’t let the phone boot!! To get in the recovery if you don’t know already, you have to press the down volume key, and keep it pressed until you see the recovery boot screen.

          • Brandon King says:

Thank you! I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. You can’t let it reboot.

    • Pesoen says:

lucky you, i lost all recovery functionality. no TWRP, no stock CM recovery, just rebooting into android after showing oneplus logo for a few seconds..

  4. Pesoen says:

thank you, i just lost all recovery functions. not even the stock cyanogen one shows anymore, so i guess it factory reset for me, if that even works to restore the stock recovery.

any attempts to load up ANY kind of recovery, TWRP Clockwork or stock, fails. even adb reboot recovery just reboots the phone twice.

    • Pesoen says:

now my recovery works again, due to getting into a bootloop while trying to get recovery to work, had to reinstall my entire phone, using fastboot. meaning alot of the functions from the previous versions of CM are lost until i decide to reinstall from scratch, excelent tutorial on how to mess up your recovery, very helpful in making sure it never works again..

  5. Pradyumna Madhav says:

This is confusing. This guide says that phone must be rooted before installing TWRP. I go to your rooting guide and it says please ensure twrp is installed before rooting!
