Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 Officially Announced in China
A few weeks ago Lenovo has revealed its first Golden Warrior handset known as S8 and here we are today with a new Golden Warrior model from the same Chinese smartphone maker. We are talking about Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 which was officially announced not just as an extremely affordable device, but also as one equipped with a set of such decent specs.
Lenovo Golden Warrior A8: Price and Availability
So, let’s not keep it a mystery any longer that the new Golden Warrior A8 will become available in two versions: one version especially made for China Mobile which will have a price of no more than CNY 798 ($128), while the other model will reach to China Unicom, but it will be a little more expensive at CNY 898 (around $144).
But when it comes to its availability, we must tell you that we still don’t know for sure exactly when the Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 will make its entrance in China, not to mention that things are confusing regarding a potential availability outside of this country.
Major Specs and Features
The new Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 model comes equipped with a MediaTek octa-core processor LTE-enabled (a MT6592 CPU model, to be more specific), being able to support a download speed of up to 150 Mbps. Moreover, when it comes to its 5-inch HD touchscreen, here we have a decent 720p resolution.
And don’t leave aside the fact that the handset packs both a 13 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5 MP front- facing one for selfies.
Are you worried about the storage or its OS version? Well, Lenovo’s Golden Warrior A8 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, not to mention that it features the Android 4.4.2 KitKat version with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI 2.0 plastered on top.
And the lack of 4G LTE connectivity from Lenovo’s Golden Warrior S8 has been now corrected, making this smartphone a decent choice that won’t empty your bank account.
