Alcatel Idol X+ to be released in China Soon

As you know, Alcatel unveiled its One Touch Idol X device earlier this year. This model is equipped with a full list of impressive technical specs, so you shouldn’t be so surprised that the company is already working on a successor to the One Touch Idol X known as Alcatel Idol X+. TCL, the company behind the Alcatel devices has officially confirmed that it will make this handset available via the Chinese online retailer JD.com in the near future, but other details regarding this aspect are still a mystery. We can only guess that having dual-SIM support means that it won’t hit the US market, but with CES 2014 taking place in January next year, we are definitely hoping to find out all the details.

Until then, we can present you several of its features and we are more than sure that you’ll like what it has to offer.  From what we know so far, Alcatel Idol X+ will run on MediaTek’s recently announced chipset featuring the first true octa-core CPU along with 2GB of RAM and no less than 16GB of internal storage space.

Even more, it will come equipped with both 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a secondary front-facing camera and we are expecting at high quality videos and photos as well. Although its screen size resolution is not officially confirmed, we can take in consideration that its predecessor has 1080p, so we bet that this is exactly what we’ll get from this Alcatel Idol X+ too. And it will definitely run on Android, but the precise version is still unknown; we can only hope for the latest KitKat OS which would be a great advantage.

And we don’t have only these details regarding the device, but also several leaked photos have emerged, according to our source, letting us take a look to Alcatel’s Idol X+ design.
