CM12 Stable Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS Released for Sprint HTC One
CM12 Nightlies builds will be officially released during the following weeks for various Android powered smartphones and tablets. But until then, you can already choose unofficial but stable versions of CM12 ROMs for your own device. Thus, in that matter you might want to know that a new Android 5.0.1 Lollipop custom firmware has been released for the Sprint model of HTC One M7.
So, the Sprint HTC One users can now finally update their smartphones to latest Lollipop OS. As already stated, you can anytime choose to install the unofficial version of CM12 custom ROM on your One M7; the firmware can be flashed only if you phone is rooted and installed with a custom recovery image though.
CM12 is currently developed by those of xda-developers (here is the official page for this Sprint HTC One M7 release) and brings latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS to us. Unofficial CM12 comes with all Lollipop stock features along with various extra apps that cannot be found on the default Android market. These extra features can power up and improve your phone’s performances, while the general CM system is ensuring a smooth Android experience.
Since I have already mentioned, this version of CM is stable enough for a daily use. Of course, since the ROM is still under development stage, you will also find some minor bugs and issues within the stock Lollipop firmware. Anyway, these issues will be soon resolved by the devs and you will be then updated with a new CM12 release.
