LG G2 Pre-Orders Available In Europe Starting At €49.90 On Contract
Finally, a smartphone that will first be available for pre-order in Europe. Although we weren’t privileged of getting our hands on many cool devices (I can’t take my mind off a specific one that I won’t talk about here), now is our time. LG decided to make its new flagship smartphone available in Europe, the 16GB model being priced at €599 on a German website. I don’t know if it’s good news or bad news, considering the price tag, but I guess it might be cheaper with a two-year contract. Actually, electronics retailer Notebooks Billiger listed on-contract prices forLG G2 (€49.90 for the 16 GB model and €79.99 for the 32 GB version), with Vodafone contracts.
The LG G2 was also said to become available in the US, but we don’t know exactly when this will happen. According to our source, Sprint and Verizon have already confirmed the LG G2 coming to their shelves later this year, still without an availability date. The device is said to come in black and white color schemes, although the photo shows us the device with a pink cover on it, this being the QuickWindow Case we were telling you about a few days ago.
The LG G2 will run Android 4.2.2, although previous rumors were saying something about the 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Also, the LG G2 will come with a 5.2-inches display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 or 3GB of RAM. The LG G2 will feature a 13 megapixel camera, a 2.1 MP one and a Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. The 4G version will support LTE, while LG G2 will also come in 2G and 3G versions. We’re quite excited about the news and are waiting for the release, hoping that the LG G2 will be as great as it sounds and will arrive to carriers all over the world.
