QuickWindow Case For LG G2 On Its Way Now
LG announced a new line of premium cases for their upcoming flagship smartphone, the G2. The cases are said to be convenient and useful, and besides, they have a pleasant design, as you can see from the photo below. The “QuickWindow” cases come in several colors: white, blue, yellow, pink, purple, mint, and black. As the name suggests, it comes with a window which will allow users to take a quick look at essential information like incoming calls, messages, the time or the weather, without having to open the flap. The cases are part of LG’s lineup of premium accessories for the G2, also including headsets and portable chargers.
LG President and CEO Jong-seok Park stated that the QuickWindow cases will bring “practical and stylish options while protecting the smartphone, which for many consumers is a significant investment.” The device will probably be released on August 20 and, according to our source, the case will be launched with it, probably with an official announcement on August 7. The G2 might arrive in shops in September or October, as the company wants a global launch with 100 mobile carriers. And, having the specs of the device, no wonder LG wants to protect it.
The LG G2 will run Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie). Also, the device will come with a 5.2-inches display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 or 3GB of RAM. We’re also expecting a 13 megapixel camera, a Li-Ion 2610 mAh battery and 32GB internal memory. The 4G version will also support LTE, while the device will come in 2G and 3G versions. So you see, there are plenty of reasons for the company to want their flagship phone to stay safe and protected. We’ll come back with a precise release date, and maybe even a price for both the device and the cases.
