SuperSU from Chainfire Already Available for European Galaxy S5 on Android 5.0 XXU1BNL2 Lollipop OS

As you should already know, Samsung officially released the OTA Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware for European Galaxy S5. The ROM, dubbed as XXU1BNL2 was made available in Poland, but it can be safely installed (using a manual method) on any Galaxy S5 that has the model number of G900F.

Well, that’s great, as it was about time to see the latest Android software running on Samsung’s flagship. What is really interested is that we already have a root method compatible with the new Android release. In that matter you need to know that Chainfire (we must thank him for this new root exploit) released a new version of his extremely popular SuperSu one click root tool.

This new root solution is compatible with any European Samsung Galaxy S5 that runs on official Android 5.0 Lollipop XXU1BNL2 firmware. So, there you have it; you can already root your smartphone without any problems. SuperSu will work without issues on your phone and will provide an easy to apply root solution for Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

Do note that this release of CF-Auto-Root is dedicated for the European model of SGS5 that runs on stock / official Lollipop XXU1BNL2 firmware. So, don’t use the root exploit in case you own a similar or different Android based device, as you can end up in bricking your smartphone.

Also, remember that gaining root access isn’t official, so you will lose your phone’s warranty when completing the unlock process.

CF-Auto-Root can be used through Odin, while SuperSu can be flashed by using a custom recovery image, such as TWRP or CWM recovery; Odin is a dedicated program developed by Samsung, while a custom recovery represents a software offered by third party devs. All you have to do is to download the new root exploit and to flash the tool on your Galaxy S5 through the mentioned program. Tell us if you need further details and we will develop a proper tutorial for you and for your phone.
