Yu Yutopia Officially Released in India; priced at Rs.24,999

One of the most powerful devices of this year, the Yu Yutopia is finally official as Micromax’s Yu Televentures just released its “Most Powerful Smartphone on the Planet” in India, just in time for the holydays. The smartphone is already available and can be bought from Amazon only for a price tag of Rs.24,999. If you think that’s too much wait to see what this phone can do as its specs, features and general performances are indeed impressive.

Shortly, the Yu Yutopia is coming with high end specs which include a large 5.2 inch display (2K SHARP OGS technology and 565ppi pixel density along with Corning Gorilla Glass protection), 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of in built storage which can be then extended up to 128 GB through a dedicated micro SD card slot. Everything is powered by the Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz which is paired with Adreno 430 GPU in order to provide a smooth and stable Android experience whether you are playing games, watching 4K videos or searching the web.

Moreover the Yu Yutopia is equipped with an impressive 21 MP camera (Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor) on the back which supports autofocus, PDAF, OIS true-tone dual LED flash and 4K video recording. On the front we have an 8 MP shooter which will ensure HD selfies and accurate video calling capability.

The phone also supports dual SIM capabilities and integrates 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity features. Yu Yutopia is pre loaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based on stock CM 12.1 ROM right of the box and it is also planned to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update during the following months.

So, there you have it; Yu Yutopia has been officially released in India. As already pointed out, the smartphone is priced at Rs.24,999 and it is available on Amazon only.
