For the beginning, you have to remove the Google search widget from your home screen and then manually side-load it by downloading the APK directly from here.

Google Keyboard

Hangouts for SMS
We are all aware of the fact that Google has added SMS functionality to Hangouts for a long time, so if you want to keep your conversations in one place, here’s what you have to do: enter into Settings > Applications > Messages > Default messaging app and choose Hangouts as the app of your choice.
You will also need to associate a Google account with SMS messages when you get a prompt for that, so don’t hesitate to do that!
Google’s Camera App
Google’s camera app is available in all devices running Android 4.4 KitKat and Samsung Galaxy S5 is no exception. But this time we might confuse you with what we are going to tell you: the default app by Samsung has a lot of advanced features like Shot & Mode that are missing from Google’s one, so our advice is to keep it.
