Amazon OnePlus One Embracing India on December 2

Recently spotted on an Amazon commercial released for the Indian market, OnePlus One has been now confirmed for an upcoming launch through the mentioned country. The device is currently prepared for this event and invites are already provided through Amazon (the first models will be available only for those who won an invitation – more details about this during the following lines).

OnePlus One is a highly appreciated smartphone which is now arriving in India. The phone is running CM11 right of the box so there is no default Android KitKat system installed. Your phone will come pre installed with the most popular custom ROM that is available on the Android market – CyanogenMod.

In India, OnePlus One will be released through Amazon. A commercial with the smartphone was recently made available, though at that moment the exact release date wasn’t available. But, thighs got confirmed and now we know for sure that OnePlus One will be officially shipped out starting from December 2.

The pricing offers haven’t been yet made available, but rumors offer details on a Rs. 25,000 ($400) price tag for the 64 GB Sandstone Black version. Do note that you can buy the OnePlus One only if you have an invite. This invite can be won if you subscribe to the OnePlus One newsletter or if you take part in contests hosted by OnePlus and Amazon.

As a reminder OnePlus One specs and features are including a 5.5 inch display, 3 GB of RAM, 16 or 64 GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 4.1, 13 MP camera on the back, 5 MP camera on the front, a quad core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz and an non-removable 3100 mAh Li-Po battery.
