PS4 Remote Play Experience Available for any Android device
PS4 is one of the best gameplay consoles you can buy from the market. But, what would you say if I would tell you that it is now possible to get the same gameplay experience right on your Android based smartphone or tablet?
Yes, that’s right; you can now enjoy a PS4 remote play experience whether you are using a Sony branded device, or any other smartphone or tablet. Thanks to those of xda-developers you can now download (for free of course) a dedicated app that will let you use your own Android device as a PS4 controller.
The app is dubbed as PS4 Remote Play and can be anytime downloaded from Google Play (make sure you get the modified version of the tool, as the classic release is compatible only with Sony branded handsets). Root access isn’t rooted, luckily for us, while the software is compatible with almost any Android smartphone or tablet that runs on Froyo or above – unfortunately, according to some users, the app is a little bit glitchy on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS).
So, what do you say, are you interested in using your own Android device as a PS4 remote controller? If so, don’t hesitate and try the PS4 Remote Play app – don’t forget to thank xda senior member TheScriptKitty on your way.
Also, after testing the app, return here and tell us how things worked for you. Is there any room for improvements, or the remote play experience is just smooth and great? Use the comments field from below and feedback us with your own experience.
