Install TWRP Recovery on Galaxy S6 Edge with ease

Do you want to download and install a compatible TWRP recovery on your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge? Your waiting has reached to an end and here we are to guide you through the installation process. This is TWRP version 2.8.6.0, which is one of the latest ones available at the moment and should allow you to easily root your S6 Edge and also to make Nandroid backups along with other custom and dedicated operations.

We want you to know from the start that you can now use this TWRP recovery to install custom ROMs on all Galaxy S6 Edge models excepting AT&T and Verizon branded devices. The list includes T-Mobile SM-G925T, SM-G925F, SM-G925I, SM-G925K, SM-G925S, SM-G925L, SM-G925R4, SM-G925T1, SM-G925W8 and more. For the moment there is not a TWRP recovery for these two versions, but be sure that we’ll keep an eye on things and come with a fresh tutorial for those owners of this device in the near future.

If you choose to apply this guide, we want to warn you that TWRP recovery is a third party app developed by third party devs, so your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will lose (void) warranty. We know that in theory this sounds as a great problem, but we have a guide that shows you how to restore it and the problem will be solved (read this guide from here).

For being able to successfully complete the tutorila that we have here you will have to use a computer or a notebook. There you must temporarily deactivate the security protection as the antivirus or antimalware programs which might interfere with our work. Even more, from your phone you need to enable the USB debugging option and don’t hesitate to charge your Galaxy S6 Edge (as it might get turned off in the middle of the flashing process and then brick) and to check if you already have Samsung’s latest Android drivers installed.

And keep in mind that we are not responsible for any damage caused to your smartphone. This is only your responsibility, so learn to assume the consequences of your actions, even in those cases when they might be wrong.
