GSmart 7: new Android budget tablet to be released soon
The GSmart 7 tablet is a mid to low-end tablet which is said to be released in the next future. Considering the fact that many tablets are either too expensive or less performant, we’re hoping that this one will give you everything you need. And if we look at the specs, we could say that the price is a match. The design however seems build to last, as you’ll see in the picture below. The release date hasn’t been mentioned anywhere yet, but I’m guessing winter won’t come without new information on this device.
The GSmart 7 tablet will come with a 4,100 mAh battery which, according to our source, will last up to 6 hours with the WiFi turned on, 10 hours of music or 6 hours of video playback. There’s no word on whether it will feature Android. Specs wise, we’ll be looking at a single-core Intel Atom Z2460, running at 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and a 7-inch display at 1024×600 resolution. The tablet will come in two versions: 8GB and 16GB, expandable to up to 32 GB with a micro SD card. It also holds two cameras: a 2MP one up front and a 3MP one on the rear.
As you can see from the specs, it isn’t such a big deal. But if the price should match the features as we hope it will, then I guess it’ll be worth it. Also, if the tablet is made out of a resistant material as it seems to me from the photo, children will be able to use it as well. We’d like to have more information for you, but unluckily, that’s all for now. What do you think? Would you buy it if it should cost…let’s say..$200?
