Huawei P6S coming with octa-core chipset and more
What do you think about having the same Huawei P6S device, but with an improved processor and Android 4.4? We must admit that this news doesn’t sound at all bad, so here we have prepared for you the details that you need to know if you are interested on buying a smartphone featuring a powerful octa-core chipset. Yes, that’s exactly what Huawei is preparing for us instead of the current quad-core K3V2 processor and the best part is this new model that we are talking about is different the one like the Samsung’s Exynos chipset, which uses just 4 cores at a time.
This octa-core processor will be completely able to use all its cores simultaneously, as a response to the repeated complains regarding its overheating. But we still don’t know for sure if they will use their own chip or a Mediatek’s MT6592 processor, so we’ll be back with new details regarding this aspect.
Even more, it is also believed that Huawei Ascend P6 will receive the Android KitKat update by January 2014. There are only rumors at the moment and no official confirmation as in the case of the octa-core chipset announced by Xu Xin Quan, the Huawei President himself, but we tend to take them for real taking in consideration the fact that the company is preparing serious changes. And let’s face it; the actual Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS definitely needs an upgrade!
This latest version of Android update could offers you a full package of new features, including improved UI icons, new Phone app with nearby search, the possibility to remove widgets from the app drawer, new Email app and more. At the moment we cannot be sure that this Android KitKat update will roll out globally, but it seems that this it will come along with a new version of their proprietary Emotion UI, so Huawei P6S will be a completely new smartphone.
