Wally pulls images from Wallbase
You never need to look at that boring old wallpaper again, or search for hours for a new one that looks at least decent as long as here I am to help you! Have you ever give a try to Wally? Does this name sound familiar to you as well? I am going to tell you why you have this feeling!
Wally made a big fuss when it was one of the first applications out there to have Material Design. After that, the very same app made a second line of waves when the website crashed for a bit, but all these are a part of the past and the app works flawless at this point.
Well, you must know from the start the fact that it features a ton of wallpapers that you can download in a blink of an eye. There are also tags you can search for, wallpaper sorting by resolution, aspect ratio, and by category, and more. It’s open source and totally free to use and images are one of a kind! The Wally app pulls images from Wallbase and comes with features such as browse and save/set wallpapers, filter wallpapers by time span, categories, resolution, search by text and/or color, browse random wallpapers or your saved wallpapers.
As I have told you from the start, this app hosts various Google’s Material Design elements, probably more so than any other Android app currently available in Google Play. The best part is you don’t even need to have a device running Android L to enjoy this app, with all the animations and color transitions working beautifully on any handset.
Even more, Wally can be downloaded for free via the Google Play link below, so there is no reason not to try it out! Grab the Wally app from here.
