Lenovo Smartphones Introduced To Audience
Last week, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing has announced that the China-based company is planning to bring its smartphones to the US Market in less than a year. Now, the company announced two new Android smartphones that will be prepared for the near future. Users should not expect something exquisite, such as a high-end device, but both handsets will prove to be quite decent for standard users.
The first device introduced by the Chinese manufacturer is the Lenovo S930, which is actually considered being a phablet, offering a great combination between the large display of a tablet and functionality provided by a smartphone. The device holds a 6-inch display that competes with Samsung’s Galaxy Mega. However, this big screen only offers a 720p resolution, which might seem pretty good, but with its large size, maybe some users would expect more.
In the same time, the handset is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6852 processor and 1 GB of RAM. In what concerns the internal storage, it only brings 8 GB of available space, but it can easily be increased with a microSD chip. However, the battery is 3,000 mAh, which promises to offer you plenty of hours of browsing. In what concerns its physical appearance, Lenovo S930 measures 170 x x86 x 8.65, and it weighs only 170g.
The second smartphone introduces by Lenovo is the smaller Lenovo S650 which brings a relatively smaller screen. The device is only 4.7-inch tall, but it brings the quality of a qHD display. Related to its internal parts, it is not that different compared to its older brother. In fact, it is powered by the same 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processors offering 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage is the same, and namely 8GB of free space to store your files, but the battery is only 2,000 mAh, due to its smaller display. With only 126 grams, it might be considered to be a normal smartphone, affordable for those who are not into big-screen smart devices.
Both of these amazing smartphones introduces by Lenovo will be launched only in a limited number of regions later this month. The prices will not be that high, which will make them affordable for all marketplaces worldwide. In fact, Lenovo S650 will be priced around $366 while the bigger Lenovo S930 will be about $427.
