Report a Mistake in Spam Protection
It doesn’t really matter whether you are a social person on the internet or not. One case or another, it comes a time when you end up being annoyed with any kind of spam will can think of. And boy, there are plenty of possibilities! Just make a choice between mailbox spam, annoying advertisements or spam calls that never seem to reach to an end.
Let’a add to the list the scam calls from shady characters who are trying to take advantage of you. They pretend to be bank employees and want you to reveal your financial sensitive data. Don’t ever do that! Telemarketing calls from real companies are also in the list, but who really cared about them? They are mostly trying to sell you stuff you’ll never need and you know it.
You could opt for not answering calls from unknown callers, but then you run the risk of missing an important phone call from someone you know. So, if you have an Android device, it’s OK to have Google’s Phone app filtering out calls that it detects as spam. Caller ID and spam protection are on by default, though users can choose to turn off these features.
And like it or not, you have to be the one who enables the feature that filters suspected spam calls and sends them straight to voicemail. Even so, mistakes do happen from time to time. So, if a call from someone you know is marked as spam, you can report the mistake.
Report a Mistake in Spam Protection:
- First of all, you have to open your device’s Phone app phone;
- After that, you need to go to the Phone app’s Recent calls;
- While here, tap the call mistakenly labeled as being spam;
- Tap Unblock number;
- Then, just tap the Unblock option;
- Future calls from this number won’t be marked as spam any longer. That’s what you have wanted, isn’t it?
