How to Mark Calls as Spam on Android
Hate spam calls? Who doesn’t, right? Nobody can get used to getting unsolicited phone calls and be interrupted in the middle of sleep, business meetings or exams. Most of the time it’s about things that you couldn’t care less about or products you’ll never buy or use. But you still have to deal with them. You see, with the rise of online shopping, there’s no way to keep your contact information private any longer. This requires your interest of putting an end to the situation as soon as possible, don’t you think?
You must do your best to filter or block spam phone calls and I am not necessarily talking about the best apps to block spam on your Android smartphone. Google’s built-in spam protector actually does the trick on its own and it works better than some have aniticpated a while ago.
When you make or get a call with caller ID and spam protection on, you can see information about callers or businesses not in your contacts. If something is wrong, the you will simply get warnings about potential spam callers. I am sure that you already knew that, right?
But are you aware of the fact that you can mark all calls from a number as spam to stop getting any more and to report the spammer? Let me show you how this can be done:
How to Mark Calls as Spam on Android:
- First of all, you need to open your device’s Phone app phone;
- Then, it’s time to go to Recent calls;
- You may now tap the call you want to report as spam;
- Tap Block / report spam. You’ll be asked if you want to block the number;
- If you have the option, tap Report call as spam;
- Now, just tap Block and you are good to go.
Hurray! That’s one more spammer you’ll never have to deal with ever again. What a relief! Let me know if you need any extra help or if something is not clear to you. I am here to help, keep that in mind!
