How to Add Battery Bar to Notch on your Zenfone Max Pro M2
I remember how annoyed Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 users used to be. Long story short their device comes with the stock Android UI, and lacks the option to Hide Notch. For those who are unaware of what a notch is, it’s the black bar on top of the screen that houses the front-facing camera and other sensors. The design aimed to copy the look of Apple iPhone X lines and it’s impossible to miss on a handset such as your Zenfone Max Pro M2.
Some third-party tools may do the trick, but I have another suggestion for you this time. I want to show you how easy it is to add a battery bar to notch on the Zenfone Max smartphone that you own. That app that I have in mind is called Notch & S10 Battery bar – Live wallpaper and it is currently compatible with OnePlus 6, Huawei P20 or your Zenfone Max Pro M2.
How does it work?
Well, it does its job by adding a live wallpaper on your home screen. Battery bar appears exactly as the size of the notch on your handset. That’s why I like the fact that Notch & S10 Battery bar – Live wallpaper is making a useless, ugly thing useful and would allow me to get rid of the battery percentage indicator on the status bar, thus clearing up some space.
And it is available for free, but there’s a paid version too, available at the price of $0.99 from the Play Store.

So, what’s your opinion? It is quite a useful app for the display notch devices, don’t you think? We can only expect similar apps from the manufacturers also. And remember that the developer doesn’t recommend installing the application on other notch-less phones. What would be the point of doing so in the first place?
