Learn How to Enable VoLTE and VoWifi on OnePlus 7 Pro

An old complaint of with Oneplus devices has always been that they don’t normally support VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling on AT&T. The devices normally have to be certified for that network to get these simple features and I never liked the sound of it. What about the new OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone? You should better keep on reading if you are an owner as well.

VoLTE is the short form of Voice Over Long Term Evolution, while VoWiFi means Voice Over WiFi. These are the standard wireless communication that lets users access higher quality voice calls and internet speeds. This also means getting higher bandwidths for superior quality voice calling and speedier internet access.

OnePlus devices (yours included) have to be certified to enjoy by network operators to access VoLTE and VoWifi as an option. This is probably why companies such as Samsung and Huawei counterparts are using this technology, but OnePlus 7 Pro users are stuck using 3G data and the device’s Wifi. OnePlus phones don’t come with this technology from the box, but you may change that.

You will have to use OnePlus Log Kit app, but all the settings herein are not stable, so you could indeed experience performance issues.

Learn How to Enable VoLTE and VoWifi on OnePlus 7 Pro:

1. Start the procedure by taking the OnePlus Log Kit app’s APK;
2. Install the OnePlus Log Kit app using its APK file;
3. After installing the Log Kit app, you must open the dialer app;
4. Dial *#800# in order to access a secret menu;
5. You will see a warning pop-up. Tap on Enter;
6. You can now tap on the OnePlus Log Kit option on the top;
7. Then, tap the Function switch option;
8. Tap on VoLTE Switch option followed by the cancel button;
9. Tap on VoWiFi switch option and then tap on the reboot button;
10. Your phone should get restarted and when it turns On, you will see that the VoLTE and VoWiFi feature is enabled on your OnePus 7 Pro.

Up to this point, VoLTE and VoWIFi will be available in the enhanced communication section of your OnePlus 7 Pro’s network settings.

You may therefore enter into Settings > Wi-Fi & internet > SIM & network to check that.
