Google Leaked to Offer $10 Billion for WhatsApp
Everybody is trying to get their hands on the famous WhatsApp, with billions and billions of dollars to be offered. It is the case of both Facebook and Google, two corporations that would love having the messaging platform on their own boat. First, it was Facebook`s opportunity to try and buy WhatsApp for an estimated $19 billion. The famous social network has big plans with the platform, as it would keep both the Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp running closely together. On the other hand, , we have Google offering a bit less, around $10 billion for the platform.
Curiously enough, but both Facebook and Google were turned off by WhatsApp, with no reasons to tell, though WhatsApp has some good reasons to turn its head on Facebook, as it came with a generous offer, promising to keep the chat platform independently running. Perhaps the messaging platform didn’t agree with the social media pretentions of holding the WhatsApp`s boarding seat.
Other than that, perhaps WhatsApp would have done just well if undergone under Google`s protection, as the main internet provider might have taken care of the app, or perhaps it would have incorporated the platform into its own system, making it vanished into thin air at some point, a thing that Facebook wouldn’t have done.
But perhaps time will tell which is which. We can all expect to see WhatsApp under Facebook, which is more oriented towards intercommunication and interrelationship than the Google platform, which tends to absorb everything with their rough and conservatory politics.
What do you thing WhatsApp will do guys? Is it going to take side with Facebook to keep things floating or will it turn its face on Google and risk becoming just some dust in the wind? Please do share your opinion with us!
