Nokia Makes Fun of Samsung’s New Galaxy S5
Here we are, with Samsung unveiling its new Galaxy S5, but what was supposed to come as a revolutionary device has turned into the subject of repeated jokes. Samsung has previously poked fun at Apple’s iPhone launches, regarding its supposedly new iPhone features that its own Galaxy phones have had for several months, but we all know that what goes around comes around. Should it be the payback time? Well, it isn’t Apple that makes fun of Samsung’s latest Galaxy S5, but actually Nokia, just as you can see in the image below.
Nokia seems to have chosen Twitter to mock the launch of this highly-anticipated smartphone, repeatedly presented as the main attraction of this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. So, as you can see by yourself, Nokia was not impressed by Samsung’s Galaxy S5 design and their message ‘Stand out from the crowd! #MWC14 #UNPACKED. NOT THE SAMESUNG;)’ clearly shows that. It is true that we have all expected something unique, especially with all those rumors of an amazing foldable design running wild and Samsung hasn’t take any action at this chapter, simply maintaining a design that is almost similar to what we have seen on its previous handsets.
Moreover, Nokia is not only suggesting what a disappointment Samsung Galaxy S5 is, but somehow it also trying to show its own Android efforts for the Nokia X, but that’s a completely different story. Somehow, Nokia just said out loud what many of us might be thinking: Samsung’s new handset is not as impressive as the company wanted us to believe, but is this ‘Samesung joke’ such an inspired one?
It is only up to you to decide if Nokia has succeeded to make you think twice before thinking of buying South Korean giant’s anticipated Galaxy S5 or not.
