Modest Lava QPAD e701 Tablet Announced for Rs. 9,999
We know that Lava is far from a popular manufacturer, but some of its products are decent enough t be taken in consideration. This is the case of its recently announced Lava QPAD e701 tablet too which has a price of no more than Rs. 9,999, just as S.N. Rai, Co-founder & Director, Lava International has officially declared regarding the company’s new product: “Lava International is aiming to expand its tablet portfolio with the launch of new tablets and our latest offering, QPAD is a step in that direction. The idea is to provide users with the best in class devices and to engage them with a stylish quality product that meets their requirements of technology, connectivity and entertainment.” Do you think that the company succeeded?
First look at Lava QPAD e701
Lava QPAD e701 comes with a 7 inch multi touch display which has a resolution of no less than 1024 x600 pixel, being more than expected given its price tag, not to mention that the power is offered by a 1.2 GHz Broadcom 281555 chipset with Videocore IV GPU handling graphics. As for the memory, here we have 1 GB RAM and no more than 4 GB internal storage, but at least this number is expandable to 32 GB by simply using a microSD card.
Moreover, Lava QPAD e701 has a 3.2 MP camera in the back and a VGA shooter in the front, but we cannot be talking about high quality photos. And when it comes to its connectivity features, the list includes WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GLONASS, as well as GPS.
The operating system that Lava QPAD e701 has is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean; you can only imagine that we cannot be talking about KitKat in such a price range. And it is very unlikely to be talking about an update in the near future too. The Lava tablet will retail on Flipkart only for the first two weeks, so take your time to decide if it is what you are really looking for.
