Vodafone UK: Huawei Ascend Mate Now Available
The Huawei Ascend Mate was announced in January 2013 and it definitely shocked everyone with its large 6.1 inches display. Finally, the device headed to the UK through the major mobile operator Vodafone, but the price and release haven’t been announced yet. Since the launch of the Huawei Ascend Mate, another huge-display device was released, and that is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, which comes with a 6.4 inch display. The Ascend Mate was officially unveiled at the 2013 International CES in Las Vegas, and was released in China in February 2013 with an international release following in March.The device qualifies as a phablet, due to its dimensions.

As for the design, the phablet uses a rounded build with a non-removable plastic cover on its rear, a front covered in Gorilla Glass, and a metallic frame around the edges.
The Huawei Ascend Mate runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It measures 163.5 x 85.7 x 9.9 mm and weights 198 grams. Users seem to be very happy with it, sustaining that it is the best quality-price phablet offer.
