Z9 JB 4.2.2 Smartphone with 5,000 mAh battery coming to China
In the last period, people who want to buy an Android based smartphone are looking at processors, displays or thickness. However, not many give too much importance to the battery, although it is a big deal and we all know how browsing or gaming reduce the battery’s life. Two of the largest batteries can be found on the Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx HD, which has a 3,300 mAh battery, or on the Galaxy Note 2, which comes with a 3,100 one. Having these said, what would you say about a 5,000 mAh battery? Well, a Chinese manufacturer named ChangHong decided it’s time for us too have long battery life rather than a slim smartphone that can be used for only a few hours.
Every mobile company is struggling to come up with the thinnest device, but that only means small batteries so nothing to great about it. A new smartphone called Z9 will pack a massive 5,000 mAh battery that should last for a few days with heavy usage. Also, the headphone won’t be too fat (it is said to be around 9mm thick), but just a mm or two thicker than the Galaxy Nexus, which is not a big deal. The bad news is that it’ll probably be released in China only, as our source suggests.
Specs wise, the Z9 will come with a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720p HD display, a 1.2 GHz quad-cor MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM, and feature Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It also features an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash. The design isn’t too pretty, but having the internal specs, we believe the device is more worthy your money than other better-looking, yet less operative smartphones.
Having these said, let’s hope that other manufacturers will take ChangHong’s example and come up with such big batteries for devices in Europe and even world-wide. It would be great!
