Galaxy Note 3 US Market Availability
The Galaxy Note 3 was announced a couple of days ago, at IFA. Samsung made public the specs and details, however no accurate information on pricing and release date. However, the company did state that the rollout of the new device should start September 25 world-wide, an US release happening sometime later this year. That leaves the announcements of the dates up to the carriers. Samsung has confirmed five US carriers so far: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Sprint. The Galaxy Gear was also announced on September 4th, however we don’t know yet which carriers will offer the watch.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear will probably hit the USA at the same time as the Galaxy Note 3. And, as our source points out, being billed as a companion to the smartphone, the watch will possibly arrive to the same carriers, as well. Regarding the specs, the smartwatch will come with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1.9 MP built-in camera with auto-focus and 70 apps. The device is powered by an 800MHz processor and a 315 mAh non-removable cell, which will last for one day. It will also come with 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM, for a $299 price tag.
Getting back to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, let me tell you it comes in nine beautiful colors and sports a 5.7-inch Full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM, a 3200mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 out of the box. It also features a 13MP camera on the back and a 2MP one up front. With regards to connectivity, you’ll get LTE, HSPA+, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, an infrared blaster for using the Note 3 as a universal remote, MHL 2.0, and GPS/GLONASS.
