Upcoming Samsung ‘Kapture the Moment’ Event in Singapore
Samsung has just released press invitations for an upcoming media event on April 29, probably for the launch of a new Galaxy device. According to the official Samsung Mobile Twitter account, this special event will take place in Singapore and it seems to be camera-centric, or at least this is what we believe thanks to its “Kapture the Moment” tagline, with the K specifically highlighted. We all know that Galaxy K is nothing else than a codename for the Galaxy S5 Zoom model, not to mention that there’s a smartphone hiding in that huge K to the right of the invite as well.
Galaxy K Zoom is not a Mystery Anymore
Having already passed through the FCC, this Galaxy K Zoom model is not a mystery anymore. We have just discovered that we are probably talking about a 20.2-megapixel rear camera sensor with 10x optical zoom and a rear Xenon flash along with a secondary 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera as well. Even more, the device is expected to come with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED 720p display, unlike the Samsung Galaxy S5’s 5.01-inch full 1080p HD display, not to mention that Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is power-wise too.
We are referring to its hexa-core Exynos 5 5260 SoC and Mali-T624 GPU, also having 2GB of RAM to support the processor. And it features the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS version, that is something that we are sore of!
Galaxy K Zoom Leaked Image
Finally, you should know that an image of the Galaxy K Zoom that has leaked earlier this month, has revealed, this device looking more like a phone and less like a compact camera with a smartphone screen.
But is this image a real one indeed?
We’ll find out at this Kapture the Moment event, so stay close for more details!
