Asus Memo Pad 7 – an Android 4.4 Tablet priced at €200

Here we are to tell you about the new Asus Memo Pad 7 Android tablet that has a €200 price tag. From what we have just discovered, the tablet will be available in Wi-Fi only and LTE versions starting later this month or early Q4, so what better time that this one for finding out what it has prepared for us? Asus Memo Pad 7: Specs and Features

This Memo Pad 7 model that we are talking about comes with a 7″ IPS screen with 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, so we have the chance to enjoy 323 pixels per inch, which is pretty decent for a tablet this size, being identical to the iPad Mini and the Google Nexus 7.

Even more, the new Asus tablet gets its power from an Intel Z3560 quad-core processor (with Burst clock speed up to 1.83GHz).Here we also have no less than 2GB of RAM as well as two different versions to choose from: 16GB and 32GB of built-in storage for your selfies, videos and music, with the possibility to add a microSD card of up to 64GB.

In terms of OS, Asus Memo Pad 7 runs on Android 4.4 (which is the latest version of Google’s software for smartphones and tablets) styled with Asus ZenUI on top of it, not to mention that it is equipped with both a 5MP main and 2MP front-facing camera.

The Memo Pad 7 is fairly light at 269g and we also like that it has a a premium construction – to be more precise its body is 50% duralumin and 34% fiberglass, also being available in no less than three color options: Gentle Black, Rose Champagne, as well as Burgundy Red.
