Have you heard about HTC’s latest mid-range smartphone known as Desire 316? The Taiwanese has just revealed it on its Chinese Website with no additional information about global availability up to now. In general, HTC’s Desire series has been extremely successful in Asian markets, but we cannot say the same thing for other resgions too, so there’s a chance to find out that Desire 316 will never make it outside China. Anyway, until having exact details on this topic, here we have more information regarding HTC’s Desire 316 major specs and features:

Modest, yet Decent Specs

As we can see on HTC’s Chinese Website, HTC Desire 316 has the exact dimensions of 140 x 72 x 9.7mm and weighs 160 grams (with battery included), being available in Black and White color variants. In terms of power, it seems to house an unspecified quad-core 1.2GHz processor paired with 512MB RAM and it only runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. So, your KitKat dreams have just vanished, or you can simply choose another handset that can give you what you want.

HTC Desire 316 is nothing more than a modest smartphone, but at least a decent one, also packing both a 5-megapixel rear camera and a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing one. As for its 5-inch qHD display, it has a maximum resolution of 540×960 pixels. Are you worried about HTC’s Desire 316 storage options? When you first hear that it only comes with 4GB of inbuilt ROM, the story might not seem that great, but at least you can expand this number to 32GB via microSD card. And don’t forget that HTC’s Desire 316 connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11, as well as GPRS/EDGE.

So, is there anyone thinking that HTC Desire 316 is an ideal option? Let us know what you think in he comments section below.
