Rogers` Gear 2 Neo Now at $49 with a Two-Year Galaxy S5 Contract

Every carrier worldwide is launching different offers now that the Galaxy S5 is finally rolling-out on Friday. It is also the case of the Canadian carrier Rogers which is coming with a very attractive offer: if you get a two-year contract for the Samsung Galaxy S5, you will have the chance to also grab the Gear 2 Neo at the cheap $49,99, which is a serious discount from the smartwatch`s initial $219,99 price.

With the Galaxy S5 being launched worldwide tomorrow, the high-end device will become available for $249,99 under a two-year contract from Rogers, with the possibility for the carrier`s customers to upgrade to the Galaxy S5 through the FLEXtab program.

In Canada, there are also other carriers that will bring the Galaxy S5 starting tomorrow, with their own offers. Since Bell is coming with the same price of $249,99, Telus is offering the high-end device at the price of $229 under a two-year contract, with a $250 “in-store credit “ for those customers that are using the buy-back program, with the possibility of exchanging their old handsets with a new one.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been expected on the market ever since it was first launched on February, at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, the high-end device coming with a 5.1-inch FULL HD Super AMOLED display, an impressive 16-megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus Mode, Select Focus Mode and Image Camera Stabilization. The S5 sports a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 Soc processor and Adreno 330 CPU, all set at 578 MHz and 2GB of RAM.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Gear 2 Neo runs on Samsung`s Tizen OS, the smartwatch coming with some interesting functionalities like music player with Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, the Gear 2 Neo is certified as being water and dust proof.
