Alcatel OneTouch Flash is Officially Announced in Thailand
The most recent Alcatel-branded smartphone, none other than the OneTouch Flash, has been officially announced in Thailand as a Samsung Galaxy Note competitor and we think that this says more than anything. Even more, Alcatel’s promo video for the OneTouch Flash shows the new device as an Android robot that fights an evil-looking “Note” (they might have exaggerated a little), but in any case, this makes us think of only one thing: what specs and features could Alcatel OneTouch Flash have in order to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note?
That is exactly what we are going to find out, so don’t hesitate to read more. In the promo video that we have told you about, the new Alcatel Flash Alcatel wins – we have all expected to this end, but don’t forget that the handset fights against Samsung Note 3 Neo and not against the high-end Note 3:
Is Alcatel OneTouch Flash the real Winner?
The new Alcatel OneTouch Flash that we have here comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels, while the power is provided by an octa-core 1.4GHz MediaTek processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and no less than 8 GB of expandable internal memory. The handset also comes with Hotknot, which is a decent NFC alternative developed by MediaTek.
And moreover, don’t forget that Alcatel OneTouch Flash is equipped with both a 13 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP secondary camera that has a special “smart beauty” function for better selfies on the front. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and we are expecting to hear about an update in the near future.
And finally, OneTouch Flash’s 3100 mAh battery is similar to the one that Note 3 Neo has, offering a long usage per single charge.
This Alcatel OneTouch Flash model should be available to buy in Thailand starting September 8 for a decent price from what we can assume at this moment. And we have one more thing to want: to find out that the handset will be released in other markets as soon as possible!
