T-mobile HTC One OTA update for fixed camera app
Recently has been registered a HDR camera error for HTC One on T-mobile. It is thought to be a bug and it is expected to be fixed. The issue, appeared just on the camera, video HDR is not affected at all. The users hope to be just a bug which will be soon fixed and not a decision of HTC to remove the HDR camera mode. As HTC has announced, a recent software update for the HTC One on T-Mobile USA provides a number of software fixes but it also inadvertently removes HDR mode from the camera settings. HTC is aware of this issue and will be pushing out a fix (OTA release) for impacted customers as soon as possible we can admit that it will be soon updated and read to use properly.
As our source points out, the issue was really fast solved and the update came in a blink of eye, so that the affected users can be notified with the new available update and the inconvenient disappear. So the users affected by this issue are invited to look for the update in the status bar and install it. It is not known what exactly happened when the HDR functionality disappeared, but the quick response of HTC which came with a camera update so promptly is to be appreciated. Another important think which HTC and T-mobile are expected to do, and maybe they will be as quick as they was with this bug, is to release an Android 4.2.2 software update for HTC One.
Now what users can do ist o go on HTC’s update servers to receive the Camera app update, and the steps are as following: Settings -> About -> Software Updates -> Check now. If the update is not available yet, unfourtunately you must wait patiently to receive an update notification on your handset.
