UK HTC One Android 4.3 OTA Update Mentioned via Twitter
Since the US HTC One is already getting the latest Android OS, the Jelly Bean 4.3 firmware, the Europe users of the same device are still wondering on when the OTA release will embrace their market. Well, a leaked info is stating that the UK HTC One will receive Android 4.3 software in 4 or 5 weeks from now, which means that unfortunately you will have to wait a little bit more until you will be able to flash an official update on your One.
But of course if you just can’t wait that long, you can anytime choose to apply a custom ROM firmware. Of course pick an update that is based on Android 4.3 like CM10.1 or Slim Bean system. There are numerous platforms available for the UK HTC One, but make sure to install only the stable variants that have been tested before. Don’t forget though, as when dealing with unofficial updates, root access and CWM recovery are being required. So, the warranty of your HT One will get void. OF course, for restoring the warranty you will have to flash the stock Android firmware and you will be able to do so in 4 or 5 weeks from now.
Well, that’s not even official as the info has been leaked via Twitter where HTC-UK stated “expecting to release Jelly Bean 4.3 update in the UK in 3-5 weeks”. But why not official yet? Well, because we are still waiting for a press release of for the UK retails to confirm this news that apparently is coming straight from HTC.
Anyway, the Android 4.3 for Europe HTC One is already highly expected so maybe it will be better to see the OTA rolled out even sooner. However, make sure to tell us whether you have received the Jelly Bean firmware or not, or if you are still waiting for the same. Also, stay close as a manual update procedure will be described here on Android flagship as soon as the Android 4.3 firmware is being leaked.
