T-Mobile HTC One Android 4.3 OTA Update Rolled Out
Even though HTC UK just announced (via Twitter) that the Android 4.3 official update for the HTC One will be rolled out in 3 or 4 weeks (the same release date being spotted for the Europe region too), in US we already have reasons to celebrate. Why? Well, T-Mobile just pushed out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware for its HTC One users, so the software will soon embrace your device.
But do remember that we are talking about an OTA (Over the Air) release, which means only one thing: the Android 4.3 firmware will not arrive to all the T-Mobile HTC One handsets at the same time. Some users will receive the software sooner than others, while in rare cases, you might not receive the notification at all. In that case, you will have to use a suitable tutorial for flashing the Android 4.3 OS manually – stay close as we will bring a suitable step by step guide soon.
Android 4.3 is the latest Android system released and developed by Google and while the platform is coming with great features, apps, capabilities and stability improvements the actual updates are being rolled out quite slowly. Anyway, the US HTC One users are being able to receive the software improvement starting from now, so if you own the mentioned handset head to “settings -> about phone -> software update” and check to see if Android 4.3 is there or not.
Don’t forget that there are numerous JB 4.3 powered custom updates available for your T-Mobile HTC One, so if you want to experience new looks, features and settings try ROMs like CM10.2, SlimBean, AOKP or ParanoidAndroid. Also, after receiving the stock Android update use the comments field from below and share your impressions about the same with us.
