To put it differently, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates for the above mentioned devices come with some new features that thousands of users around the world will definitely appreciate. This is the first time the Galaxy Note 2 has received an important firmware update, and it is considered a major jump for the wonderful device, since it used to run on Android 4.1 even from its humble beginning, almost 12 months ago.
SamMobile and XDA state that the 3G GT-N7100 variant will get its first update in India, since the Nordic countries will be the first to update the 4G GT-N7105 variant. For the US market, there are some leaked rumors according to which the update will roll out for the At&T Note 2 as soon as possible. What are the new features that the update brings? As our official source states, the update comes with a Galaxy Gear smartwatch support, some apps concerning Samsung Wallet payment, and a security layer called Samsung Knox. The upgrade also features a new lockscreen, new voice commands, improved performance with a better RAM enhancement, GPU drivers, move apps and much more.
Since the S Pen feature was significantly improved for the Galaxy Note 3, there is no fresh news concerning its elder Note 2 for that matter.
