Samsung to Release Four New Android Tablets
It appears that the South Korean manufacturer (Samsung) plans to get a larger piece of the worldwide smart device marketplace. New rumors have confirmed the fact that Samsung will release four different tablets in the first quarter of the next year, which will assure a larger segment of the tablet market. Having a wide number of tablets available for sale on the market, which includes the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, Samsung has decided to expand its portfolio of products.
One of the alleged four Samsung tablets might be the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T111) which is considered to be the cheapest Samsung tablet with a price tag of 100 Euros. However, there is not other rumor regarding the three other tablets, but if we take into consideration what it has been discussed so far, Samsung’s alleged 12.2-inch Galaxy Note might have its special place between them.
At the beginning of this month, Samsung has managed to register with FFC its 12.2 Samsung Galaxy Note tablet holding the model number Samsung SM-P901. This thing led to the assumption that among the four rumored tablets scheduled for release in the beginning of the new year, Samsung will also introduce the large-sized Galaxy Note 12.2-inch.
According to various rumors, the super-sized slate will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of RAM. In the same time, the super tablet will feature 32 GB of internal storage while the rear-facing camera will capture picture at a resolution of 8 MP and the front-facing camera having the option for video calls at 2 MP. Related to the connectivity matter, the Note tablet will be compatible with the 3G connectivity, right at its launch.
In the same time, it is worth mentioning the fact that Samsung plans to introduce a new category of tablets which will someday replace laptops for many people. In the same time, the company is expected to release a larger tablet with an AMOLED screen. The 13.3-inch tablet is expected to be released with the boot-support of both Android and Windows.
However, since we have nothing left to do than wait, we might assume that with both CES and MWC technology events scheduled also in the first quarter of the next year, Samsung will take the chance and release these four alleged tablets somewhere between the two.
